Michael Heyman
Michael holds a master’s degree in arts, teaching, elementary education and a bachelors degree in art and history. Michael has extensive experience in both elementary teaching and curriculum development. Michael is co-founder of The Reimagined Classroom (TRE), a curriculum development company. Michael and his team at TRE work on Typesy curriculum development, educational best practices, and pedagogy.
Brett Meyers
Brett has master’s degree in education K-8 and over 22 years of experience in teaching and curriculum development. Brett has also done extensive work with NGOs and served in the Peace Corps. Brett is also a co-founder of TRE and also works on Typesy curriculum development, educational best practices, and pedagogy.
Viktoria Odnokoz
Viktoria is an expert in gamification and human-centred design. She is also an experienced teacher and game designer. Viktoria holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology, a master’s degree in finance, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and entrepreneurship. Viktoria works with Typesy to help design critical elements such as gamification, interactive learning, and human-centered design.
Lilla Dale McManis, Ph.D.
Dale is a distinguished educational psychologist. She has extensive experience as a practitioner, researcher, and educator with a focus on application. Dale holds a Ph.D. in educational psychology, an M.ED in special education, and a B.S. in child development. Dale works with the Typesy team to help ensure Typesy maintains a strong evidence-based focus and adherence to pedagogical best practices.
Kristina Charisovaite
Kristina is a human-computer interaction (HCI) Expert with a deep understanding of the intersection of user experience and psychology. Kristina holds a master’s degree in human-computer interaction (HCI) and has significant experience in the field. Kristina works with the Typesy team to help create the most usable and engaging learning experience possible.
Joshua Young, Ph.D.
Joshua is a neuroscientist with a special interest in human-centric approaches to designing hardware and software interfaces that make optimal use of the human body. He holds a Ph.D. in computational neuroscience and a first-class honours degree in neuroscience/biochemistry. Joshua advises Typesy on muscle memory, learning models, new advances in human-computer interfaces, and relevant academic research.
